Being a kind sort of creature he takes pity on the children and he takes them for a tour of London. ![]() Thankfully the lion is friendly and understands that the children are only doing what their Grandma told them to do. Suddenly, and without warning, the lion comes to life, his grey stone turning golden in the sunlight. Actually they climb onto the back of the lion statue. Grandma tells the children to “stay by that lion” in Trafalgar square while she has “a little rest” on a park bench. Katie and her little brother Jack are supposed to be sight seeing in London with their Grandma but the old lady is already tired out and they haven’t even really seen anything yet. ![]()
